Edington Junction was situated on the Somerset & Dorset line between Evercreech Junction and Burnham on Sea, it being the junction for the Bridgewater branch. Located in the midst of the Somerset levels, the junction station featured a crossing loop and the usual array of sidings associated with a small country station. The period modelled is from nationalisation until line closure in 1966.
