This is a fictitious place somewhere in the Southern Region of British Railways that has not yet been electrified. The era depicted is the late fifties to early sixties (of the last century). Many of the buildings demonstrate the "Art Deco" era of the Southern, pre-nationalisation and are mainly scratch-built with many others being kit-bashed.
The layout is under construction with more buildings still to be made and more electrical work to be completed.
